We work in coordination with the Office of Disability Services to provide accommodations to any resident with differing abilities or special needs.

Accessibility Resources Highlights

  • Automatic Door Openers
    • All our residence halls have at least one main exterior door equipped with an automatic door opening device. Additionally any interior hallway doors leading into the residential areas include automatic door openers. Residents who need to automatically operate these doors are given a remote that signals the door to open as needed.
  • ADA/Accessible units are available in all our residence halls.
    • These spaces and features vary by building, but can include automatic unit and/or bedroom doors, roll-in/transfer showers, wider doorways, strobes (doorbells and fire alarm), lower closet shelves and larger bedrooms.
  • Elevator Access
    • All of the residence halls on campus have elevators available which allows wheelchair users to navigate easily throughout our buildings.
