Locked out and need to know what to do?

If you're locked out of your room and want to get a loan key, the first thing you will need is a picture ID. If you don't have one with you, then contact your Resident Advisor.

Residents of Moore, Sanford, Scott, Holshouser, and Hunt Village may get a loan key at the 24-hour loan key desk located in Scott Hall. Dial extension 75562 from an on-campus phone or 704-687-5562 on the outer lobby phone, and someone will let you into the building. The loan key office is on the left.

Residents of Cedar, Hickory, Sycamore, Lynch, Miltimore, Wallis, Martin Village, Phase III, Elm, Maple, Pine, Oak, Hawthorn, Greek Village and Witherspoon may get a loan key at the 24-hour loan key desk in Oak Hall. Dial extension 72749 on the phone by the courtyard door to be let into the building. The loan key desk is to the left of the lobby.

Having a facilities related problem in your room and/or area?

  • Submit an Online Maintenance Request
  • Submit a Problem Ticket for a washer or dryer issue
  • For technical support with your room Internet or Cable students should contact the UNC Charlotte Time Warner office, located on the right side of Maple Hall, near the Community Room. Students may call the office using on-campus extension 7-3778 from an on-campus phone or 704‑687‑3778 from an off-campus (cell) phone. Students are also welcome to come into the office. The Time Warner Cable Collegiate support representative will be happy to assist you!
  • For technical support with WiFi Hot Spots in any of our Residence Halls contact Epproach Communications support at 877‑364‑5907 or online at www.epproach.net/twcsupport. There you can find answers to frequently asked questions or submit online support tickets.
  • Road Runner technicians are available for walk-in assistance Monday through Friday, from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM and 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
  • You may also send an email to Road Runner support at unccrrsupport@twcarolina.com with any concerns you may be experiencing. Please include your name, campus room number, and a cell phone number where you can be reached, and a description of your service issue.

Need to submit an Incident Report?

Is there a violation of policy happening in your room, suite, apartment, or house that you need to report? Have you been asked by a Housing staff member to complete an incident report? Consider completing the Incident Reporting Form. (Please note that anonymous reports cannot be accepted.)

High-speed wireless Internet service is provided in many common areas within the residence halls (lounges, laundry rooms, class rooms, etc.) For more information on our wireless services and hotspots throughout our buildings click here.

As a residential student at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, you are automatically a member of the Resident Students Association.
