The Global Gateways Program, a residential-based programming model with an international emphasis, launched in Fall 2013 and expands upon the 15-year partnership established between the Office of International Programs and Housing and Residence Life. The Global Gateways Program provides an opportunity for both domestic and international students to experience, appreciate, and learn about new and different cultures in a fun, engaging environment. There is no language requirement for participation in the Global Gateways Program.
Domestic and international students are invited to live in one of two options within this dynamic community: the Gateways House (for upper-class female students) and the Witherspoon International House (for male and female students).
Gateways House (House 9 within Greek Village)
Rooms in the Global Gateways house are private rooms with full-size beds. Residents will either have a shared bathroom (with one other female) or a private bathroom. Each house has a large living/common room, kitchen for common use, on-site laundry and vending machines and a common outdoor space. More information, including floor plan images, is available on the Housing and Residence Life website.
Female students interested in the Global Gateways House are encouraged to review details about the program on the OIP website.
To apply to the program, you must complete the Global Gateways online application and the Housing and Residence Life application. Selected community members will be notified of their acceptance and room assignment.
