High-speed Internet service is provided to each resident by Time Warner's Road Runner service.

Students provide their own computers, which should be equipped with an Ethernet card in order to connect to the network. Students also must provide an RJ-45 Ethernet cable to connect their computer to the wall jack. Wireless services are not provided in the Residence Halls and the connection of wired or wireless hubs, routers, or switches is prohibited by University policy.

Students are strongly encouraged to install anti-virus and anti-spyware software as well as a firewall before coming to campus. Many of these software programs are provided free of charge by the University. Visit our Secure My PC micro-site for more information.
