Road Runner by Time Warner is the Internet Service Provider (ISP) for all residential facilities at UNC Charlotte.
Road Runner Security:
In order to provide a stable and secure network environment for all of our customers on Road Runner, please note the following:
- We do not allow the operation of servers, web hosting, or other services on our network nor do we allow commercial transactions (i.e. running a business) to be conducted over our networks.

Road Runner Technical Support:
For technical support with Road Runner students should contact the UNC Charlotte Time Warner office, located on the right side of Maple Hall, near the Community Room. Students may call the office using on-campus extension 7-3778 from an on-campus phone or 704‑687‑3778 from an off-campus (cell) phone. Students are also welcome to come into the office. The Time Warner Cable Collegiate support representative will be happy to assist you!
Road Runner technicians are available for walk-in assistance Monday through Friday, from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM and 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
