Thermostat Guide

Before submitting a Maintenance Request for the temperature in your room/unit, please read through the information below, to be sure you are setting and adjusting your thermostats properly. If you have followed the directions as written, but are still experiencing issues in room temperature, please contact our Facilities staff by submitting a maintenance request.

  1. Select mode auto/cool/heat/off
  2. While in heat/ cool mode use up/down arrow to select desired set point
  3. If you choose auto it will switch from cool to heat automatically based on desired set points
  4. Note there should not be no more than a 3 to 4 degree difference in set points for auto
  5. You can also select your fan function from auto to on
  6. Difference being that when it is in on fan will run 24/7, in auto it runs only when the unit is calling for heat/cooling

Set desired temperature by pushing the down button to decrease the temperature or the up button to increase the temperature.

NOTE: the temperature setpoint displayed is the cooling setpoint. The heat auto sets to 2 degrees below the cooling temperature setpoint (so there is never overlap between heating and cooling). 

Controls are locked and require a W/O to adjust temperature.

  1. Set temperature dial to desired temperature
  2. Set fan speed to desired speed
  3. Unit will automatically changed from Heat/Cooling to maintain desired temperature
  1. Press up/down arrow unit will come up in whatever mode it is in Heat or coolingUnit will
  2. While heat or cool mode is up press the mode button to switch to the other mode
  3. Set temperature to desired level, same can be done while in each mode heat or cooling
  4. Unit will auto change to maintain desired set point
  1. Use up/down arrows to pick desired set point
  2. Make sure Thermostat says saving set point
  3. Unit will automatically change from heat/cool to maintain set point

  1. Turn unit on or off
  2. Set temperature setpoint with arrows (all other keys are locked)
  1. Turn unit on
  2. Select fan speed
  3. Set desired temperature with thumb wheel
  4. Unit will auto change to maintain setpoint

Controlled thru a BAS system, requires a W/O to adjust temperature.

  1. Turn unit from off to auto
  2. Set cooling or heat to desired temp. Unit automatically switches to maintain desire temperature
  3. Set fan to auto or on mode
  4. In auto fan will only run when heat or cooling is called for, in on unit fan run continuously  

Units 01-15, all floors:

  1. Push button under system to select mode
  2. Press up or down arrows to desired set point Slide button from off to Heat or Cool
  3. System will automatically change to maintain desired temperature
  4. Button under fan allows  you to select auto or on
  5. In auto fan will only rum when heat or cooling is called for, in on unit fan run continuously
Units 16-35, all floors:
  1. Slide button from off to Heat or cool mode
  2. Use thumbwheel to set desired temperature
  3. System will automatically change to maintain desired temperature
