Housing and Residence Life at UNC Charlotte offers gender affirming housing assignments. While all housing assignments are made based on the students’ sex, gender affirming housing options enable students to request a housing assignment that may more effectively meet their gender identity needs. Students are offered the opportunity to select their housing options from a limited number of spaces reserved for students of the same sex who choose to live with others interested in affirming gender identities.
If you would like to consider this housing assignment option, please complete this form.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact Chelsea Ortiz at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We want to go the extra mile in support of our graduate residents by assigning those interested to on campus apartments with, and in close proximity to, other graduate residents.
We will offer a limited number of spaces in Pine Hall for graduate students, and will make apartment spaces in other buildings available for a graduate student community, should there be interest.
When you live on campus, you can be independent, but not alone. It's a diverse and welcoming community where you can feel comfortable being yourself and learning more about others. Each living area supports academic excellence, and professional staff and student leaders live and work in each area, coordinating services and programs that produce contented individuals.
If you would like to be a part of this graduate residential community on campus, please contact us at email@example.com or 704‑687‑7501.
