Fall 2015 - Spring 2016 Application Available for New Incoming Students
Students not currently living on campus can now apply for housing for the next year by logging in to your account on the left side menu of this homepage. See additional information about the application process.
Housing assignments for new freshmen and transfer students will continue to be made throughout the summer. Watch your UNC Charlotte email for information. Assignments are made based on a combination of factors including date of application, roommate and building preferences and program acceptance (Learning Communities, Honors, etc.). If you have any questions about your assignment, please contact the Assignments Office at 704-687-7501.
Once you are assigned, if you are confused by the letters and numbers that comprise your housing assignment, check out our decoding your assignment information.
Not completely satisfied with your Assignment? New this year is our online Assignment Change Waitlist that will allow any resident assigned for Fall 2015-Spring 2016 to submit a prioritized request for an assignment change. For more information, visit our New Student Assignment Change Waitlist page.

Pardon our Dust
Please excuse the inconveniences associated with the construction of our Housing Master Plan that includes both renovation and new construction projects. Construction on Phase XIII, Laurel Hall, is now underway in South Village. Holshouser Hall in South Village and Oak Hall in East Village are under renovation this year, to reopen fall 2015.
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will begin their construction of the LYNX Blue Line Extension that will extend the Light Rail’s service from uptown, center city of Charlotte, to our campus.
