We invite you to explore our website and learn about all of the great opportunities and resources that Housing and Residence Life has to offer you!
Live on Campus because…
Room change requests for the Fall 2014 semester will be processed by Residence Coordinators and Graduate Assistants in their offices on Thursday, September 4 and Friday, September 5 between 7:00am and 9:00am. Requests will be honored on a First Come, First Served Basis. If you cannot be present during the following times, a friend can process your room change for you by taking your valid picture ID to the RC/Grad of the new building/area during the appropriate time listed.
Check out the vacancy list the evening before room changes to determine if the room type (ie highrise double, apartment or suite) is available and in which areas.

Please excuse the inconveniences associated with the construction of our Housing Master Plan that includes both renovation and new construction projects. We are in the process of completing the construction of Martin Hall, a new residence hall located in East Village that will open in the coming weeks. Construction on Phase XIII, a brand new residence hall, is now underway in South Village. Holshouser Hall in South Village and Oak Hall in East Village is under renovation this year, to reopen fall 2015.
The University is building a new dining hall in South Village, slated to open in just a few months. In the coming weeks, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will begin their construction of the LYNX Blue Line Extension that will extend the Light Rail’s service from uptown, center city of Charlotte, to our campus.
