Fall Residents: Login to your Housing account to see your housing assignment. Once you have that information, be sure to visit our Move-In website. There you will find helpful information about check-in procedures, moving tips and suggested items to bring. Most importantly, using your assigned housing information, you can find your scheduled arrival date and time.
As Move-In weekend approaches, be sure to check your UNC Charlotte email account often. We will be sending important information and critical updates, including a prompt to login to HOMEpass. HOMEpass is our pre-Move-In process during which you will verify your emergency contact information, confirm your Move-In arrival time and receive vital documentation to print out and post on your dashboard in order to successfully navigate and park on campus for Move-In. HOMEpass will be live after August 1.
Summer Housing will be available in Miltimore Hall and the Greek Village this summer. UNC Charlotte students who are enrolled in summer courses, or those taking classes this spring and pre-registered for classes in the fall are eligible for Summer Housing. The priority deadline for applications is May 1, 2014. Learn more about summer housing now.
As of July 16, we have more housing applications from men than we have space to accommodate. We will continue to accept your application but do so with the understanding that we may not be able to provide you a space. Our ability to provide space will depend on how many cancellations we receive between now and Opening in August. Please know that we will prioritize freshmen from those who apply.
For those who are able to commute for the first few weeks of the semester, there is usually flexibility, as it is not unusual for space to open after those first weeks of school. We will be happy to work with you daily until you find a campus space or decide you need to make other arrangements.
As a reminder, the University provides a website to assist students looking for off campus housing. Please visit the Off-Campus Housing site to search apartment listings and view other helpful resources including safety tips, a roommate finder and landlord/tenant information.
Please note that a completed housing application is required to be placed on the waiting list. New applicants should login to their Housing account on the left and follow the instructions. Men who currently have incomplete housing applications will be placed on a waiting list once all of the required components of the application are completed. If applicants cancel prior to assignment or if we are unable to assign applicants from the waiting list, deposits will be refunded without financial penalties.
Once you are assigned, if you are confused by the letters and numbers that comprise your housing assignment, check out our decoding your assignment information. After reviewing the information, please contact us if you still have questions.
Please excuse the inconveniences associated with the construction of our $450 million Housing Master Plan that includes both renovation and new construction projects. Currently, we are building Martin Hall, a new residence hall located in East Village. Also, the university is building a new dining hall in South Village. Both are scheduled for completion in 2014. For more information, visit our construction site.
