We invite you to explore our website and learn about all of the great opportunities and resources that Housing and Residence Life has to offer you!

Live on Campus because…

  • Being close to class is important to you
  • You like being connected with other students
  • You like feeling safe and secure
  • It’s where you learn, work, and play

Housing and Residence Life is pleased to join the Resident Students’ Association (RSA) in announcing the winners of the 2014 Campus Cribs Contest! We received nearly 150 entries in the inaugural year of this contest and all of the rooms were impressive, making the judging quite challenging. Thank you to all who participated! We love seeing enthusiasm for living on campus and hope to see more students call our campus home in the future.

Construction updates

Pardon our Dust

Please excuse the inconveniences associated with the construction of our Housing Master Plan that includes both renovation and new construction projects. Construction on Phase XIII, a brand new residence hall, is now underway in South Village. Holshouser Hall in South Village and Oak Hall in East Village are under renovation this year, to reopen fall 2015.

The University is building a new dining hall in South Village, slated to open in just a few months. In the coming weeks, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will begin their construction of the LYNX Blue Line Extension that will extend the Light Rail’s service from uptown, center city of Charlotte, to our campus.

For more information, visit our construction site.
